The End

So the end has come!
I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive about writing a blog (see my first post). However, I have enjoyed writing it. I have also enjoyed the tasks that we have had to do every week. Some of the tasks introduced me to some really interesting things and I have continued and will continue to use.

You Tube

I love you tube, it is a great resource for so many things. Sometimes it's good for just a laugh but I think one of the best things are the "how tos" that people post. You can learn anything from how to tie a tie to how to built a model rocket and beyond. Personally, I use the how tos that people post for video games. This one game I like to play, Super Mario Sunshine, has lots of level and lots of extra tasks within the level to complete. When got stuck, I would type the game name and level into You Tube and sure enough there would be a video with a step by step solution. Some people might call this cheating, but I don't think so. I only used it to get through particularly hard sections or to find that 30th blue coin that's hidden somewhere in a huge level. It's funny too because you can tell the person who uploaded it is some 13 year old kid in his mom's living room. Some of these people have uploaded instructions for every level and facet of tons of games, it's amazing how much time some people have on their hands.

So next time you need to know how to do something try youtubing it instead of googling it first, there's instructions for almost anything!
